Chapter Forty Four

Khushi wouldn't say another word, which scared Arnav. Concerned, Arnav took her home just as his father had told him to in his text. When they got there, Khushi stepped out and headed inside before Arnav could say a word. He followed behind her and watched as Khushi sat down on the sofa, lost in thought.

"Khushi?" He went over to her and crouched before her. "What's wrong? Is everything okay."

Khushi shook her head and then looked up at him. "Arnav, I'm scared."

He caressed her face. "Why? What's wrong?"

Khushi held his hands. "You'll never leave me, will you?"

Arnav's eyes widened in shock. "What the? Khushi why are you asking such a stupid question?"

"You won't ever stop loving me, will you?"

Now Arnav was getting irritated. "Khushi this is ridiculous! What the fuck is the problem?"

"Arnav, language!"

"I don't fucking care!"

"Well you should care because I don't want our child to hear such words!"

"I don't care if our-" And then it hit him. "O-our what?"

Khushi pursed her lips and a smile tugged onto her face as Arnav's eyes brightened up like the fourth of July.

"Our child? Our child?! Our child?!!!" He placed his hand over Khushi's stomach then quickly moved it away. "No, I need to hear it," and he moved his ear over her stomach.

Khushi broke into laughter. "You won't hear anything now!"

"Then when," he asked, looking up at her with wide and bright eyes.

"In time, when the baby is bigger."

"Well how big is it now?"

"Well the picture from the ultrasound in the file-"

Arnav didn't hear another word as he had gotten up and dashed out to the car to retrieve Khushi's report, leaving Khushi in a laughing mess. When Arnav returned, he had the picture in his hand and he was absolutely focused, looking at the picture as his feet moved him forward without thought.

Khushi felt relieved.  The baby topic wasn't exactly spoken on properly, clearing out how they each felt about having a child. She had her doubts due to her nerves, but her heart had convinced her that Arnav would love to have a child as well. But just to be safe, she played this charade - well, it was also to mess with him.

Khushi got up and joined Arnav by his side. The photograph didn't show much of course, as the baby was very small at about eight weeks.

"Khushi?"

"Hmm?"

She looked up at him, however Arnav was still focused on the picture.

"I'm really happy, I really am, but...."

Khushi froze, the smile on her face slowly fading. "But what?"

Arnav looked at her, searching her face. "Promise you won't hate me?"

Khushi blinked, her body continuing to freeze. "For what?"

The serious expression disappeared from Arnav's face and embarrassment flooded in. "For not being able to tell where our child is."

Khushi sighed in relief inwardly as a smile threatened to spread. She was trying hard not to because she knew Arnav would complain if she did.

However she failed miserably.

"Hey! This isn't funny! I'm new at this," Arnav exclaimed.

Khushi could no longer hold back her laughter and held onto Arnav for support as she laughed away.

Arnav rolled his eyes and focused hard on the black and white photo, trying to figure out where the heck his child was.

"Come to papa," Arnav mumbled, but Khushi heard him clearly.

"Here, give it to me," she chuckled.

Arnav held it out and Khushi held the other side of the picture while he held the other.

"You see that over there? About the size of a kidney bean," she pointed.

Arnav focused on it. "Yes."

"That's our child."

Arnav inspected the photograph carefully. "But that's so little," he finally said.

"Well yeah, all babies are at one point. Didn't you pay attention in biology class?"

"And watch that birth video? No way, I cut class that day."

Khushi broke into laughter once more.

Arnav continued to inspect the photograph. "How old is she?"

"He is about 8 weeks old."

Arnav rolled his eyes. "So when was she conceived," he wondered, going into thought.

Khushi's eyes widened. "Arnav," she scolded, blushing brightly.

"What? I'm just trying to figure it out."

Khushi shook her head. "Unbelievable."

Arnav rolled his eyes. "Just wait till Dad and Ammu hears this. Ammu will go through the roof!"

Khushi blushed. "You'll tell them, won't you?"

Arnav scrunched his eyebrows. "Why me? Why not you, or together for that matter?"

"Because it's embarrassing."

"How's that embarrassing?"

Khushi hugged Arnav, burying her face in his chest. "There's only one way for this to have happened and if I were to tell them..." and she blushed harder.

Arnav grinned roguishly and tilted her chin up to meet his eyes. "Oh? Is that your reasoning?"

Khushi nodded.

Arnav chuckled, wrapping his arms around her waist as he kissed her. "Whatever it is, I'm very happy. Just think - our baby will enter our home and will bring joy for everyone, running around with its little tiny feet. The five of us will be happier than ever!"

"Actually..."

Arnav and Khushi looked up to the sound of Aryan's voice. Both Aryan and Shalini stood together, looking down to the floor. Something seemed off, and Arnav and Khushi split to look at them carefully.

"What's wrong," Arnav asked.

"Is everything okay," Khushi asked.

In all of the excitement, Khushi totally forgot about Aryan and Shalini, which she felt guilty about. However the guilt didn't stick around for long because she was much too concerned by the expressions on their face. Something seemed wrong, and it was beginning to worry her.

"Why aren't you saying anything," Arnav asked. He looked at his mother. "Ammu, what's wrong? What happened? Your head was spinning earlier and Dad what was up with your text? Why did you want for Khushi and I to leave you guys behind at the clinic?"

Khushi scrunched her eyebrows, looking from her husband to her parents. "Head spinning? Ammu what's wrong?"

Arnav stepped forward and held his mother by her arms. "Tell me," he said sternly, his eyes fierce with seriousness.

Shalini finally looked up and then at her husband. They exchanged looks and Aryan nodded.

"Will someone please explain what is going on," Arnav exclaimed.

Aryan nodded and gestured them to sit down. Arnav didn't move until Khushi told him to, his serious/angry expression still on his face. Aryan looked at Shalini as they stood before the kids, then looked down at the file in his hands.

"There's something important we need to talk to you two about," Aryan said.

"We get that," Arnav said impatiently. "What is it?!"

With a sigh, Aryan held out the file and Arnav snatched it out of his hand. Aryan wrapped his arm around Shalini's waist as Arnav opened the file to read it. There were medical reports inside, but he was clueless, trying to find something that would tell him what the problem was, rather than knowing if she needed more vitamin D or calcium. Khushi looked over at it as well, but she didn't understand it. But as Arnav picked up a few pages, Khushi noticed a paper clip in the back. Curious, she took the file from Arnav's lap and flipped to the back while Arnav continued to observe the pages. When her eyes landed on the content held by the paper clip, her eyes widened. She looked up at Shalini and then back down at the file.

As Khushi freed it from the paper clip and stood up, Arnav groaned and looked up at his parents.

"What the fuck is the problem," he yelled.

"Chote," Shalini scolded.

"Arnav, what did I say," Khushi scolded. "I don't want to hear you cussing around the babies!"

"Well excuse me if- wait a minute..." Arnav stood up, looking at his wife with scrunched eyebrows. "... you said babies..."

Khushi didn't respond.

"... that's plural."

Khushi looked down.

"Are you having twins? You didn't show me another baby in the ultrasound."

Khushi pursed her lips. "That's because there isn't another baby in my ultrasound. But there is one in here," and she held it out to Arnav.

Arnav looked at it confusedly then took it. It was another ultrasound picture, however it was different than Khushi's. He didn't see anything similar to his kidney-bean-sized baby, but rather a big black circle-like shape.

"What is this," Arnav asked, looking up at the others.

"Look at it carefully," Khushi said softly.

Arnav did and he noticed the bottom left corner. Unlike Khushi's picture, which read Raizada, K over the date, this one read Raizada. S.

And it hit Arnav immediately, causing him to gasp. He looked at his parents with wide eyes, his mother looking quite embarrassed, her cheeks flamed, while Aryan seemed totally normal.

"You're..." but Arnav couldn't finish his sentence.

"I can't believe it," Khushi squealed with joy, and she reached out to Shalini, giving her a hug while Shalini blushed really hard.

Arnav blinked, still in shock. He glanced down at the ultrasound picture and then at his father, who was now looking at him with concern, waiting for his reaction.

Finally Arnav recovered.

"You old man!" Arnav came forward and gave his father a hug. "You've still got game in you, huh?"

"You bet I do," Aryan chuckled, hugging his son back.

"Arnav," Khushi scolded.

"Aryan," Shalini scolded.

But neither Raizada men cared, doing their handshake, causing the Raizada ladies to roll their eyes.

One thing for sure, everyone was really excited. Khushi's wish was coming true, and she was really happy, excited to have her child in her arms soon. Shalini was happy as well, her wish of having another child from years ago, coming true. Of course, she did feel somewhat odd. After all her kids would have a 20+ year gap instead of the 7 year gap she had intended. But a blessing was a blessing, and once she was relieved with the excitement of not just her husband's, but of her children's as well, she was truly happy.

Eventually it was announced to the rest of the Raizada clan, and as they had expected, everyone was not only happy by the news, but shocked by Shalini's news. But it didn't matter for long, as they only cared for her happiness. She deserved it and so did Aryan, and that was all that mattered.

"Are you excited," Padmini asked.

Shalini and the other ladies were sitting in the back patio, while the men were sitting in the main room, the children in the media room.

"Nervous actually," Shalini confessed.

"Hello, hi, bye, bye. Why," Manorama asked.

Shalini shrugged. "Well I am 43 running on 44. And you know what doctors say about having a child at this age."

"You'll be fine," Padmini said, holding her hand. "Your doctor will take good care of you."

"I guess, but it'll be kind of odd right? I mean Khushi is pregnant with my grandchild and I'm having a baby a well."

"It's like Father of the Bride 2," Manorama said, thinking of that movie.

"Huh... come to the think of it, it is," Padmini agreed.

Shalini scrunched her eyebrows. "I don't think I've seen it."

"Well it's a really good movie and you should watch it," Manorama said.

"Okay. Well I know what I'm doing tonight."

*~*

Over in the media room, a talk similar to the mothers was going on.

"Isn't this totally like Father of the Bride 2," Lavanya asked.

The others agreed, recalling that movie.

"You mean with Steve Martin," Arnav asked.

"That's the one," Payal said.

"Huh... I guess it is."

"Whatever it is, I'm very happy," Khushi said. "Ammu deserves this. Her and Papa always wanted to have another child, and now she is," she smiled softly.

"That she is, but imagine you both go into labor together," Seema squealed.

"Omg, that would be so weird," Lavanya squealed along. "But cool!"

The three other ladies gushed while the two other men rolled their eyes.

"Are you feeling weird about this though, Bhai," Akash asked.

Arnav shook his head. "Not really. I remember Dad mentioning about having another child when I was younger, and I was excited and wanted a brother. But then dad asked how I felt about having a sister instead and the first thing I thought of was that menace," he said, gesturing to Lavanya with a nod of his head.

"Hey," she whined.

"Lucky you, she was a nightmare," NK said, recalling memories of the past.

"Hey! I'm right here!"

"Where," he asked, glancing around the room before his wife playfully hit his chest.

Khushi chuckled and then sighed. "Just think - what if they do have a baby girl? It would be Ammu's dream come true."

Arnav wrapped his arm around his wife. "True. It would be, but then she'd have two daughters, rather than one, and I'll be defenseless."

Khushi rolled her eyes and playfully hit him.

"What," he said innocently.

Everyone else chuckled.

"Nanav, you better take good care of my Bhabi," NK warned.

"Like I need to learn that from you."

"You could learn a lot."

"Is that so?"

Arnav and NK began to fuss and Khushi could no longer hold back her laugh. Seeing the family together and in joy excited her. She truly couldn't wait to discover new experiences of her pregnancy. She wouldn't be alone and would have the support of her loving family, especially of her loving mother.

That night, both mother and daughter decided to watch the movie together, their husbands joining them. Eventually they dozed off, but one thing for sure, they were one happy family.

Chapter Forty Three

Khushi had an appointment for her semi annual check up, and both her and Arnav had decided to make an appointment for Shalini as well, since it had been quite some time since she had last been to the doctors. Arnav was free for the day, so he decided he'd take the ladies. Aryan decided to meet up with them afterwards, as he had a meeting down in town hall, and then they'd go out to eat.

As expected, the wait was long, and that too for just the nurse to call them. Shalini was called in first by one nurse and then Khushi by another.

"Any complaints," the nurse asked Khushi.

Khushi shook her head. "No."

The nurse clicked away on the computer and typed, went through the standard procedure, and then she had Khushi go back to the waiting room. Shalini joined them once more and the wait, once again, was horribly long.

"This is absolutely fucking ridiculous," Arnav scowled.

"Chote!"

"Arnav!"

Arnav groaned with a roll of his eyes, then rested his chin in the palm of his hand. "Now I have two women controlling me."

Khushi rolled her eyes while Shalini chuckled.

"You'd do best by listening to them," Shalini pointed out.

"Yeah, yeah," he huffed.

Khushi shook her head. "Mr. Grumpy Pants."

Arnav frowned at her and Khushi stuck her tongue out. Immediately, Arnav grabbed her hand and tugged her to him, causing Khushi to gasp.

"Arnav-"

"Don't tease me like that love. You know what I prefer," he shirked devilishly.

Khushi blushed hard as her eyes darted from Arnav to Shalini and back, Shalini trying really hard to hide her grin.

"Arnav stop, Ammu is right there."

"So," he replied.

"So stop," and she tried to free her hand.

Arnav tightened his grip. "Never."

"Arnav let me go!"

"No."

"Arnav!"

"No!"

"Stop being stubborn!"

"No."

Shalini broke into laughter. "You two are just like little children. What will you do when you have a child of your own?"

Khushi paused and looked at Shalini. It had been weeks since the baby topic came up, the last time being at Shalini's party.

Arnav looked at his mother. "Out of us two I'd say I'm more of a child."

Shalini chuckled. "Now that I agree with."

Arnav grinned and Shalini kissed his forehead. Cute as the two were, the baby thought still struck Khushi's mind.

"Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada!"

Khushi snapped out of her thoughts and looked up to see the doctor. She got up, Arnav letting her go, and joined her, and then they went inside to a room.

Just as she left, Aryan came in and went to his wife and son.

"Where's Khushi," he asked.

"She just went inside," Shalini said as her husband leaned in and kissed her.

"And hello to you to," Arnav frowned as his father pulled away from his mother.

Aryan tilted his head.

"No hey what's up son for me? It's all about Ammu and Khushi now isn't it?"

"Can't blame me for loving my wife and daughter so much."

"Sure, your son no longer matters"

"When he stops barging in on me and my wife, sure."

"Aryan," Shalini scolded.

"What? That's the third time this week!"

Arnav leaned forward. "Old man, you'd think you'd learn by now that the kitchen isn't the safest place to mingle, considering the fact I caught you guys once when I was 5."

Aryan frowned and leaned forward. "I am not old, child. You'd do best to remember that and to learn how to knock."

"Child? I'm not-!"

"Enough," Shalini chuckled. "We're not at home and I don't have Khushi to help me control you fools."

"Fools," both men said, astounded.

"Yes fools, and I-"

Shalini paused and shut her eyes. Both Raizada men looked at her curiously, when she held onto the side of her head.

Aryan moved forward and crouched before her. "Jaanemaan, what's wrong? Are you okay?"

Shalini shook her head.

Arnav leaned closer to his mother and held her free hand. "Ammu, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, just feeling a bit dizzy all of a sudden."

"Jaanemaan-"

"I'll be right back, I need the ladies room" she said, getting up.

Aryan got up as well. "Do you want me to take you-"

"No, no, it's fine. I'm okay, I can walk over there on my own. Just hear out for if the doctor calls me."

"Okay."

Shalini headed to the restroom, and even though she said she didn't need Aryan's help, he followed behind her anyways and waited outside.

When Shalini got inside, she splashed some water on her face and washed her hands with cold water. She seemed alright now, so she dried herself up with paper towels and stepped out. However, just as she did, she saw a custodian cleaning the floor and the smell of bleach hit her nose. It was absolutely awful and it nauseated her immediately, causing her to run back in and deposit her breakfast into the toilet.

"Shalini!"

Aryan ran in after her and held her hair up as Shalini continued to vomit. Finally when she had calmed down, she washed up and held onto the sink as she caught her breath.

"Jaanemaan, what's wrong? Are you feeling okay? I'm gonna go get a doctor immediately-"

"It's okay, the smell of the bleach caused it, I'm fine-"

"No you're not. I'm getting a doctor right now."

Aryan tried to move away but Shalini quickly grabbed his arm.

"Aryan please-"

"Jaanemaan, you're not okay, we need to get you a doctor right now!"

"But-"

"Shalini-"

"I don't want to see a doctor!"

Aryan scrunched his eyebrows. "Why not?"

Shalini looked down, not responding. Aryan reached forward and cupped her face in his hands.

"What's wrong Jaanemaan," he asked softly.

Shalini continued to look down. "I'm scared," she finally admitted.

"Of what?"

"Of... what if something is wrong with me," she asked, looking back up at him.

Aryan's eyes widened. "There's nothing wrong with you."

"But what if there is. Don't you remember, I was drugged. What if that-"

"You said that the woman - what was her name? Ahana - you said that Ahana had helped you recover. You're fine now."

"Aryan-"

"Shalini Aryan Singh Raizada," the two heard a doctor call out.

"Come on, let's go," Aryan said, taking Shalini's hand.

Shalini held their entwined hands with her free hand. "Aryan-"

Aryan released her hand and cupped her face. "I am not losing you again, or so help me Shalini, I will lose it."

"Aryan...."

He took hold of her hand once more. "Come," and he led his wife out and took her to the doctor.

As the doctor led them in, Aryan quickly texted Arnav, telling him to go home when Khushi came back out, and that he and Shalini would see them when they got back.

The text seemed odd to Arnav, wondering what was wrong with his mother, when Khushi finally rejoined him.

Arnav stood up as he met his wife's worried eyes. "What's wrong?"

"We need to talk."

Chapter Forty Two

Time went on and all was well in the Raizada household. Khushi eventually started going back to work at AR as Arnav needed her and needed her. Again, Khushi had said that she needed to focus on the housework and help Shalini out, but Shalini convinced her to go to work with Arnav, as well as Aryan. Eventually Khushi gave in and she went back to work, Arnav thanking his parents for this.

However Aryan secretly thanked Arnav because now that he had Shalini home alone, he could work home more often and get very distracted. Of course his wife would find this very funny, calling him a rabbit for being such a teenager, but Aryan didn't care. After all, he did have 15 years of making love to make up for, which only caused Shalini to laugh more, only to be cut off by her own gasps or moans.

Shalini clutched onto her husband's hair, her head lolling back. "Aryan," she gasped.

Aryan rested his head on his wife's breasts as he continued to thrust into her.

Shalini felt her body build, ready to give in to that fantastic feeling. Aryan could feel it as well, so he laid his wife down on his desk and gazed down at her. Shalini had her head to the side, pleasure taking control of her. Aryan nuzzled her neck, whispering sweet nothings to her. Her body continued to rise, and then she was there, ready to give in. With a cry, she hit her climax, her body arching off of Aryan's desk just as Aryan grunted out, releasing into her.

The two gazed at each other as they came down from their high, Shalini's hands still entangled in Aryan's hair. She had him rest his head on her chest as the two continued to calm down.

Shalini felt Aryan smile. "You have to admit..."

She looked down at him as he looked up at her.

"... it just gets better with age."

Shalini giggled and Aryan gazed away at her with a smile. Suddenly she stopped, feeling a twitch within her.

Her lips formed into an o as her eyebrows shot up. "Again?"

Aryan smirked devilishly.

"You're insatiable," she tried to mock.

However she desired him as well, and it was evident as her body reacted to him, causing Aryan to groan and pull back. "And so are you," and thrusted back into her.

Shalini gasped. "It's getting late," she said as Aryan pulled back.

Thrust! "Let it."

Shalini pursed her lips as Aryan pulled back. "But your work-"

Thrust! "Nothing to worry about."

Shalini bit her lip and Aryan pulled back once more. "But-"

Thrust! "But nothing."

Shalini whimpered as Aryan pulled back. "But the kids-"

Thrust! "They're adults, they can sort themselves out."

"Aryan-"

Aryan pulled back and thrust into her, causing her to cry out. He hovered over her, bringing his face closer to hers.

"The boy was quite annoying when he was younger, always ruining my moments by barging in through the door."

He pulled back and thrusted deeper.

"I won't let that stop me now."

Shalini gasped. "Don't you have any shame?"

Aryan thrusted into her. "No."

Shalini moaned, tossing her head back. She slowly opened her eyes and looked into her husband's eyes.

"What if Chote came walking in- ah!"

Aryan had her breast in his mouth, teasing her nipple before biting it. "Don't jinx it Jaanemaan."

"Aryan-"

"Hush Jaanemaan. Don't think of it."

"But- oh fuck!"

Aryan smirked devilishly. "There she is," he teased. "I was wondering where my minx was hiding."

Shalini looked into Aryan's eyes, a fierceness now formed within hers. She slowly picked herself up and sat on the desk while one hand remained entangled in Aryan's hair.

"Let me pleasure you," Shalini said softly, tracing her free hand over her husbands chest.

Though they were much older now, her husband clearly didn't let age be a factor and kept his body in shape, appearing younger than his age. And thanks to Ahana, Shalini was kept in good shape, causing her to look young for her age as well.

Without another word, Aryan picked her up, keeping their bodies connected, and sat down in his chair, having his wife straddle him. Placing both hands in Aryan's hair, Shalini lifted herself and slowly began to ride her husband. Gradually, her speed built up and both were panting, their mouths on each other, wanting the other very badly.

"Aryan," Shalini whispered.

Aryan understood immediately and picked them up and placed her flat against the large window behind them. He thrusted into her deeply and fast, and both came with a cry. Their lips collided as they came down from their high and held onto each other.

"That was incredible," Shalini gasped and Aryan couldn't help but to chuckle.

He kissed her once more before reaching down to pick up their clothes. He placed them on his desk and pulled on his pants as Shalini sat down in Aryan's chair to catch her breath and calm her crazy heart.

"Promise me," Shalini began, "that we'll do that again."

Aryan chuckled and tilted her chin up. "Of course Jaanemaan-"

Suddenly the door opened and Arnav came walking in, looking down at his phone.

"Dad I- what the f-?!"

Khushi came walking behind. "Arnav don't just- oh my," she said, covering her lips with her hand.

As soon as the door had opened, Aryan had quickly turned his chair so that they didn't see Shalini naked. However the pile of clothes on Aryan's desk was proof of what had happened for Khushi; and Aryan being shirtless with his belt hanging open and button undone was way more than enough proof for Arnav.

"Do you still not know how to knock Chote," Aryan boomed.

"Aryan," Shalini scolded.

"I... er-"

"Bye," Khushi said quickly, cutting Arnav off as she ran out the room.

"Er, deuces," and Arnav dashed out.

Aryan shook his head and glanced down at his wife as she quickly reached over for her blouse and petticoat, and put them on.

"I can't believe that happened," Shalini exclaimed, her face red with embarrassment.

"What? It's not like it's the first time this has happened."

"He was young," she scowled, putting on her sari.

"And he's not scarred. So?"

"Aryan-!"

The door opened and Arnav popped his head in. "You guys are rabbits," he teased and he dashed off.

Shalini smacked her forehead. "Hai DM!"

Aryan shook his head. "He'll never grow up."

"Well it's one thing with him, but what about Khushi? She probably thinks-"

"That we love each other very much and want to spend time together."

"But-"

Aryan caressed her face and pulled her close to him. "But nothing Jaanemaan."

Shalini sighed and rested her head against his chest. "Fine."

But she still couldn't help but to wonder what Khushi was thinking of her.

*~*

"Well that was embarrassing," Arnav laughed.

"I can't believe I just barged in there like that! What must Ammu think of me," Khushi exclaimed.

"Khushi, you didn't do anything wrong."

"Yes I did, I should have knocked before entering the room!"

"Khushi I was the one barged in. You were the one trying to stop me."

"I know but I still should have knocked! That would have saved the embarrassment of them... mingling," and she blushed hard.

Arnav couldn't help himself but to chuckle. "What can I say? The Raizada's fuck like rabbits and are a bunch of horndogs," he smiled proudly.

"Arnav," Khushi scolded.

"What," he said innocently. "You're a Raizada too, and you have to admit that you aren't anything less yourself," he winked, causing Khushi to blush harder.

Arnav chuckled and laid back on their bed, resting his folded hands behind his head. "We Raizada's are something else."

"Har dee har har," Khushi mocked, but Arnav simply winked.

Later that day when both Shalini and Khushi saw each other in the kitchen, they were red with embarrassment, but then laughed it off.

After all what harm could possibly be done for being so in love?

Chapter Forty One

Raizada mansion had truly changed after that day. Happiness had truly returned to the home and it was filled with laughter. Mornings began with Shalini and Khushi waking up early and preparing breakfast. Aryan and Arnav would come down to join the ladies, have breakfast together before going off to work, of course, after the men snuck in a kiss from their wife. The day would go on and both mother and daughter worked together in the house until the men came home, had tea together and relaxed, worked a bit more, before joining together again for dinner. After dinner would always be fun, sitting out in the back patio, talking the night away until they went to bed for, well, night activities ;)

As planned, a party for Shalini was held and many family friends and relatives came that night, extremely happy that Shalini was back. When the guests were settled down, Lavanya introduced Shalini to the stage and Shalini thanked everyone for coming. She explained somewhat of the hardships she had faced and that she is very grateful for the love and support she receives from her family, and couldn't ask for anything more.

Well...

"...I am not just a proud mother of one child, but a proud mother of seven children, a proud mother in-law of three, and now I hope to be a proud grandmother of many," Shalini grinned.

While the three Raizada boys' eyebrows shot up, the three Raizada bahus blushed and looked away.

Shalini chuckled. "Once again, thank you so much for coming out tonight," Shalini smiled, and she returned to her husband, who wrapped his arm around his wife and held her to his side.

The three Raizada men turned to their wives. "You heard her," they whispered with a smirk on their face, their intentions clear.

However each of the bahus had a different reaction:

"Indeed I did," Seema said, biting her lip, her intentions clear.

"I did. So," Payal smirked, her intentions clear.

"I... I... um, I," was all Khushi could say, feeling very blushy on the topic.

"Is my sweetheart blushing," Arnav teased.

Khushi bit her lip, trying her best to avoid Arnav's gaze. Of course she wanted children, however the topic coming up like this was quite embarrassing to Khushi, especially with the way her husband gazed at her.

From the corner of her eyes, she saw NK and Seema get up.

"It's nothing to be embarrassed about," Arnav said, bringing Khushi's attention back to him, though she still wouldn't look at him. "Plus, it is Ammu's request after all."

Khushi glanced up to look at Shalini. She was still with Aryan, talking to some guests.

"And we have to respect her request," Arnav murmured.

Khushi was about to say something when she saw Akash and Payal get up and leave.

"So what do you say Khushi," Arnav smirked softly.

"U-um... I... I...."

"Yes," Arnav said, moving closer to Khushi.

"Um, I, um... I'll be right back," and Khushi quickly got up and dashed away.

"Khushi," Arnav called out, but Khushi quickly swerved away.

She made her way through the guests and excused herself to the ladies room. Once she was inside, she checked all the stalls then locked the door so no one could come in. She moved to the sink and washed her hands, hoping the cold water would cool her down. She dried her hands and ran them over her head to smoothen out her hair.

What's wrong with me? Why am I getting so worked up over this? I want a child and it seems like Arnav is okay with it.... but is he only saying this because of Ammu? Or does he really...? Why is this so confusing?!

Khushi looked at her reflection.

I really shouldn't be thinking so hard on this. I mean I'd be getting what I want, right? A baby that I would love and raise with Arnav by my side. I want a family. I want to shower my child with love.... love I never got as a child.

Khushi looked down at her stomach and placed her hands over it.

I want to experience all of those feelings every mother feels when she's with child. I want to spend those nine months having my child grow within me. I want to feel it kick for the first time. I want to play it music and talk to it. I want it to feel it's mothers love before it arrives. And I want it to feel it's father's love before it arrives.

Khushi looked up at her reflection and imagined herself heavily pregnant with a very pregnant baby bump.

I want all of that. Even Ammu wants me to have that. And Arnav... maybe he is ready. Maybe... maybe he does want it. Or else why would he make those comments? Yeah... Arnav must want a child! He really-

Khushi blushed.

A child of our own. Perhaps a boy, just like Arnav. My own little prince.

Khushi pictured her and Arnav with a little baby boy, their bundle of joy. It made her smile and blush harder, and she couldn't wait for her fantasy to come true.

With a big smile on her face, Khushi fixed herself up and got out of the bathroom. She walked down the hall, her smile plastered on her face, when she heard something.

"Oh god!"

Khushi paused and her eyebrows scrunched.

"Jaan," the female voice said, and then a man moaned.

Khushi's eyes widened. What the-?

"Jaan I'm going to..." and the woman cried out in ecstasy, followed by the man, letting out a deep groan.

Khushi's face reddened. Did I just hear...?

Several moments later, the door opened, revealing a sated NK and sated Seema. The second their eyes met Khushi's, the couple froze. It was evident by Khushi's face that their bhabi had definitely heard them making love in the closet.

"Uh, hi bhabi," NK tried to say casually.

Seema pursed her lips and avoided eye contact, all the while poor Khushi reddened by the second, unable to face them.

"Hi," Khushi practically whispered, and she speed-walked out of there.

Oh my god, did I just hear NK and Seema have sex! I-

"Holy fuck!"

Khushi froze and her eyes widened, ready to pop out.

"Fuck, baby, yes!"

Oh my god, is that-?

Before she could finish her thought, the female voice cried out in ecstasy, followed by a man's sated cry. Moments later, the door opened, revealing just the people Khushi thought were inside.

"B-bhabi," Akash stammered when he saw Khushi standing there in shock.

Payal blushed and ducked behind Akash and poor Khushi had reddened even more, no longer her beautiful pale but crimson.

Not knowing what she could possibly say, Khushi dashed away.

What the hell is going on?! First NK and Seema, now Akash and Payal?!  What the-?

"Aryan, please!"

Khushi froze once more, silently pleading that she really wasn't hearing what she thought she was hearing.

"Aryan... Aryan- ah!"

Khushi immediately dashed down the hall, unable to believe what she had just heard.

Khushi entered the main hall and sat back down in her seat, chugging down her glass of water. Arnav looked at her oddly as his poor wife just gazed forward in shock.

"Khushi are you okay? You're as red as a tomato," he frowned.

Khushi didn't say anything. She was just too in shock.

A waitress came up to them to refill Khushi's water.

"Oh yeah, can I get a gimlet," Arnav asked.

"Of course Sir," she nodded. "Anything else for you ma'am," she asked, looking at Khushi.

"Perhaps an Orgasm."

Khushi's eyes shot up to Arnav's. "What," she crimsoned.

Arnav laughed. "Oh baby, your face," he laughed. He turned to the waitress. "She's fine, just the gimlet."

The waitress nodded and left.

Arnav chuckled. "Seriously Khushi, what is the matter with you? Why are you so red?"

Another waitress came to the table next to theirs. "Here's your Sex on the Beach," she said, placing it down before she left.

Khushi bit her lip. "This night has gone from sweet to nothing but sex."

Arnav scrunched his eyebrows. "What do you mean?"

In that moment, Akash and Payal, NK and Seema, and Aryan and Shalini came back into the room and took their seats. Their sated expressions were still somewhat visible on their face and Khushi couldn't meet her eyes with any of them. Arnav noticed but he didn't understand a thing as the waitress came with his drink.

"More like a night of weird," Arnav said, and he took a swig of his drink.
