Chapter Eighteen

(Warning: slightly mature)
Sunlight came seeping in through the curtains. It landed over Khushi and woke her up. Khushi blinked and adjusted to the light and then realized her surroundings: she was in Arnav's room, in his bed. Khushi thought back to the day before and blushed as she thought of last night. She looked down and saw Arnav's chest, and then she looked up. Arnav was still asleep, his head tilted so that it was resting on her head. Reaching out, she carefully caressed his face. She let her fingers travel to his soft hair and she lightly sighed, feeling contempt.

She was no longer Khushi Kumari Gupta, but Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada. Thinking of her new name made her heart flutter. Being with Arnav meant everything to her. She was now a part of him, mentally and physically, and she blushed once more. Not only was she apart of him, but a part of his family.

That's when Khushi remembered. Slowly and carefully, she got up, so that she wouldn't disturb Arnav. She went over to the wardrobe and picked out a beautiful red sari and headed to the bathroom to wash up and shower. When she came out, Arnav was still asleep. He had moved slightly but he was still asleep.

Khushi began to dry her hair with the towel she had wrapped around her head. She stood in front of the mirror and put in her moisturizer and was about to take a pinch of her vermillion, when Arnav groaned.

Arnav moved and placed his arm where Khushi would've been. "Babe, where are you?"

Khushi smiled. "Over here."

Arnav smiled and then opened his eyes. "Good morning, Mrs. Raizada."

"Good morning Mr. Raizada," Khushi blushed.

Arnav moved the blanket aside and stood up as Khushi placed the towel down. When she looked back up at him, her eyes widened. They went down and shot back up to his. Arnav was still tired and was stretching when he saw Khushi's expression. That's when he realized he was naked. Khushi instantly turned around and went red. She couldn't believe she his thing(italics)! Arnav looked down at himself and smirked at Khushi. She was hesitant, nonstop tucking her hair behind her ear. Arnav found her innocence really cute and went over to her and wrapped his arms around her waist, making Khushi gasp.

"Ar-"

"Were you just checking me out," Arnav teased.

"N-n-no," she stuttered.

"Didn't seem like it."

Arnav rubbed his nose from her shoulder to her neck. Khushi clutched onto her sari and stood still, feeling delicious tingles run through her body. Arnav began to suck and nibble on her neck and Khushi got worried. She needed to hurry downstairs because she wanted to make breakfast and tea for everyone.

She kept thinking of a way for Arnav to stop, but then she began to wonder if she should continue to call Arnav as "Arnav" or "Arnavji". But then her thoughts were disturbed as she felt something at her behind. And instantly, she knew very well what that something(italics) was, and she gasped.

"I guess you've figured that I want you right now," Arnav teased.

He pressed his body closer to hers and Khushi gasped again at the feeling of his erection.

Arnav placed small, fluttery kisses behind her ear. "But as much as I badly want you, I'll let you go."

Arnav loosened his grip and let her go. Khushi let her breath go, not even realizing when she was holding it in the first place. Arnav quickly pecked her cheek and left towards the bathroom, grabbing some clothes from the wardrobe as he left.

When the door shut, Khushi held onto the vanity table and blushed. She couldn't believe what had just happened. Slowly bringing her hand up, she felt her cheek, where he had just kissed her. She blushed again and bit her pinky.

Ab baas kar Khushi, she said in her head. Niche jana hain ki nehi?

She checked her reflection and readjusted herself. She was about to leave, when she realized she was missing one thing: the vermillion through her parting. She went to pick up the tiny pot, when a hand reached out and took it. She looked up and saw Arnav.

"What are-"

"Shh," he said, putting his finger to his lips.

Opening it, he took a pinch of vermillion and placed it right through her parting. Khushi shut her eyes as she felt his fingers move through. When she looked back up at him, Arnav had a small smile playing on his lips. Khushi smiled as well and hugged him. Arnav wrapped one arm around her waist and placed his other hand through her hair.

"I love you Khushi," Arnav murmured in her hair.

"I love you too," she sniffled.

Arnav pulled away and tilted her face up. "Baby, why are you crying?"

Khushi shook her head. "I'm not. I'm just happy."

Arnav smiled and kissed her. "I'll see you downstairs. Hmm?"

Khushi nodded. "'Kay."

Arnav kissed her once more and left to shower. Khushi smiled happily and looked in the mirror. Biting her lip, she turned and left, ready to begin her daughter in-law duties. Going down the hall, she went to the grand staircase and went down. Going around the right, she went to the kitchen. Inside, there were some workers

"Good morning ma'am," a female worker said.

"Good morning. Um, is it alright if I made breakfast?"

"Of course ma'am."

Khushi smiled. "Thanks."

Khushi got straight to work and happily worked, when Dai Ma came in.

"Good morning, bahu."

"Good morning, Dai Ma."

Khushi covered her head with her pallu and bent down to get Dai Ma's blessings.

"Having any troubles," Dai Ma asked.

Khushi shook her head. "No. One of the workers told me where which items are so I'm okay."

Dai Ma smiled. "Okay," and she left.

Khushi finished up with breakfast and was ready for it to be served. Helping the maids, she placed the food down in the dining room. Though they were now only four people, the table was enough for about thirty two people!

Within a few minutes, Aryan came downstairs. Khushi placed the last of the food and went to get blessings from Aryan.

"No, just a hug betiyan," Aryan smiled.

Khushi smiled and hugged him.

"And a kiss on the cheek for this old man."

Khushi giggled and kissed Aryan on the cheek.

"I see dad is trying to steal my girl."

The two looked up and saw Arnav come in. He looked drool-worthy, wearing a metallic gray button down and black skinny jeans. He went over to Aryan and gave his dad a hug.

"Morning dad," Arnav said.

"Morning son. Come sit. Khushi, you too."

"There's just one more thing I have to do," Khushi said.

Getting a small bowl, she filled it with kheer and went out the dining room. Dai Ma was just coming in as Khushi passed her. The three looked in confusion and followed her. When they found her, they found her in the pooja room, offering the bowl of kheer and praying.

Dai Ma watched in shock, as Aryan thought back to the old days, while admiring what Khushi was doing. Arnav crossed his arms and looked at Khushi.

That's my girl, he said in his head.

Dai Ma and Aryan put their hands together. Arnav on the other hand didn't, since he wasn't really a religious man (he has reasons, later to be revealed). Done with her prayer Khushi turned and saw everyone else. Arnav smiled at her and Khushi smiled back and went over to him. Aryan looked at her and smiled.

"You reminded me of the old days, when Arnav's mother was around," Aryan said with tears in his eyes.

Khushi felt bad and guilty for reminding him, but Aryan shook his head, understanding by her expression. Soon, the four went back to the dining room and began to eat breakfast.

"So Chote, what are the plans now," Aryan asked.

"Well, I was thinking of the island of the coast," Arnav replied.

"Oh, that place is beautiful," Dai Ma exclaimed. "Remember once when we went for that picnic?"

Arnav nodded, smiling. "Yeah. And it's perfect. What do you think, Khushi," he asked looking at her.

Khushi looked confused. "For what?"

"For your honeymoon, of course," Dai Ma said.

"What? But-"

"Of course, Khushi," Aryan said. "You and Chote have just gotten married so you two have to go."

"Um... I guess?"

Arnav smiled lightly and then looked at the others. "Then it's settled. Khushi and I will go to the island for our honeymoon."

"Great," Aryan said. "Then I suggest you two get packing right now."

"Right now," Khushi questioned.

Aryan nodded. "Of course betiyan."

"Wait we're leaving today?"

Arnav nodded.

"Oh..."

"Why?"

"Well, I though we were gonna at least stay here today."

Aryan smiled. "Betiyan, you will be here for the rest of your life now. So go, have some fun."

Khushi lightly smiled. "Okay," she nodded.

*~*

Khushi was in the middle of packing, when Arnav came out of nowhere and wrapped his arms around Khushi, making her gasp.

Arnav nuzzled her neck. "I can't wait till we get to the island."

Khushi shivered. "How long are we staying?"

"A week. Or two if you want."

Khushi gasped. "Can we stay that long? Won't it be really expensive?"

Arnav chuckled lightly. "Khushi, it's our island. So it's not a big deal."

"Your island?"

Arnav rested his chin in her shoulder and looked at her through the mirror. "Since dad's the ruler of the town, he has all rights to that island. So now, it's ours."

"Oh. That's amazing!"

Arnav smiled and pecked her cheek. "And I can't wait to show you our home there. And I can't wait to christen the bed."

Khushi looked at his reflection confusedly. "'Christen the bed'?"

Arnav nipped her ear. "You'll see," he whispered in her ear, and then left.

Khushi stood there confused. She finished her packing and turned to see Arnav holding two duffel bags.

"Ready babe," he asked.

Khushi nodded.

The two headed downstairs and got their blessings from the adults. The newly weds headed out and for in Arnav's car and drove off to the coast. They got out and got on a boat and headed off to the island.

All the while, Khushi wondered of what Arnav said. But adding the pieces together, she figured out that there was nothing but romance, pleasure, and erotica ahead for them. It made Khushi blush, knowing that they were going to "get to kno" each other better".

And secretly, Khushi couldn't wait.

Chapter Seventeen - MAHA Update

Arnav and Khushi moved towards Aryan and bent down to take his blessings. Aryan was more than happy and then hugged them tightly.

"You've made me really proud today," Aryan said.

The newly wedded couple smiled at him and then went to Dai Ma. They took blessings from her and she happily gave it.

"Always be happy," she smiled. "Though I must warn you Khushi, he can be a bit childish now and then."

Khushi chuckled lightly while Arnav gave Dai Ma a face, who started to chuckle as well. Then they moved towards Khushi's parents to get their blessings. It was obvious they didn't care, but Arnav didn't care. Khushi was his now, and that was all that mattered.

Then they went to Shyam, who gave them a tight squeeze. When they looked back at him, his eyes were filled with tears.

Shyam caressed Khushi's face. "You're finally married Di. You're not gonna forget this brother of your's are you?"

Khushi bit her lip, shaking her head with tears streaming and Shyam have her a tight hug.

"Hush Di, not today," but he was shedding tears himself.

Khushi looked at him and caressed his face in her hands. "Promise to be good. And not to be so much of a tension."

"Di-"

"And study! Make sure your education goes well. And find my sister in-law."

"Didi," he said, looking side to side embarrassed.

"I'm serious Shyam. But keep your education in mind."

"How can I without you? You always kept me on task."

Aryan came forward. "Don't worry. You'll still see your sister in school."

Both looked at him in surprise, as well as everyone else. Well, except for Arnav.

"Khushi will continue school and graduate," Aryan stated. "I give you my word."

Khushi was in tears again. She couldn't help but to hug Aryan and Aryan smiled, holding her.

Aryan looked down at Khushi. "Today, I'm not taking my bahu home."

Everyone gaped at him. Especially Arnav.

"What," Arnav exclaimed. "But why?"

Aryan looked at him. "Because I'm taking my daughter home."

Khushi smiled with tears and hugged Aryan again, Arnav sighing in relief. He went over to his wife and held her hand.

"Shall we go," Arnav questioned.

Khushi noticed her parents, who paid no mind, and Arnav noticed her looking at them. When Khushi looked back at Arnav, he shook his head, admonishing her to pay no mind to her parents. Khushi smiled lightly and nodded.

And so the biddai began. Khushi walked side by side with Arnav towards the car. She cried, tossing rice back, Shyam at her other side. Everyone followed behind, Shashi and Garima as well. Once they got to the car, Khushi hugged Shyam tightly and cried. Shyam shed a few tears, trying his best not to, but he gave in and hugged his sister tightly.

He pulled away and cupped her face. "Stop crying Di. I'll still see you in school. Hmm?"

Khushi nodded and then Shyam gave her a final hug.

Shyam looked at Arnav. "If you ever hurt my sister-"

"I won't," Arnav promised. "Count on that."

Shyam and Arnav hugged. He helped his sister in the car and then Arnav went around and sat.

Aryan went to Shashi and Garima. "I am very lucky to have your daughter as my son's wife."

The two have a tight smile.

"Today I'm not taking your daughter, but my daughter."

The two looked at him.

"Since you two couldn't be parents to her, you two shouldn't be considered it," he said lowly, and then left.

Shashi and Garima slightly gaped but then snapped back to reality. Aryan got into a different car with Dai Ma and they all headed to Raizada Mansion.

Once they left, everyone cleared out and left. Shyam sighed and stood there with his arms crossed. Shashi and Garima were about to go in when Shyam spoke.

"She'll be much more happier there."

Shashi and Garima looked at him.

"And one thing for sure, she'll get the love she never got," and he headed inside.

*~*

Khushi looked out the window, some tears flowing. Suddenly, she felt Arnav holding her hand. He shook his head, gesturing for her not to cry. Khushi smiled lightly and nodded.

Arnav reached out and wiped her tears. "We haven't been married an hour, and my wife is already crying."

Khushi giggled a bit, with a mixture of crying. Arnav held her hands and lifted them to his lips and kissed her knuckles.

"I don't wanna see you cry anymore. 'Kay?"

Khushi nodded. "Okay."

"Good. From now on, it's nothing but happiness. 'Kay?"

Khushi nodded.

He kissed her knuckles again. "I love you Khushi."

Khushi's heart melted. "I love you too Arnav."

Soon they arrived to Raizada Mansion. The gates opened and in they went. At the door stood Dai Ma and the newly wedded couple came out. She welcomed them in and Khushi knocked over the little pot filled with rice. She stepped into the alta and walked inside. Leaving her footprints behind, Arnav helped Khushi into their home. Khushi looked in amazement, the mansion being beautifully decorated.

They were lead into the ballroom, where many people awaited. Khushi felt a bit nervous when she saw the people, but Arnav held her hand, assuring her things were okay.

The newly wedded couple were seated and soon, people began to come up. They were family and friends of the Raizada's and they all loved Khushi. There were some close family relatives there as well, like Arnav's cousin Akash. His parents and his fiancé, Payal, had come. Also, Arnav's cousin NK had come, who came along with his parents, sister, Lavanya, and wife, Seema. NK and his family had come all the way from Sydney just to see Khushi.

"Thank you so much for coming," Khushi said shyly. "It must have been trouble-"

"Not at all," NK said. "Nanav's wedding? And I miss it? Never."

Khushi giggled lightly. "Nanav?"

"See, he couldn't say his name as a kid. He would say 'Nanav' and since then, I would call him that, just to tease him."

"And boy does it urk me," Arnav smiled fakely.

"Oh Nanav, always gonna be the same."

"Where's Seema when I need her."

Seema came over giggling. "Bhai, you know he'll never stop. Even if I try."

"Oh wifey, you know me so well," NK flirted.

"Get a room," Akash teased, as he came over with Payal.

"Glad to."

"Gross," Lavanya said as she came over.

Khushi giggled lightly.

"I think it should be the newly weds to get a room. Don't you think," NK teased.

Khushi went red and Arnav gave NK a face.

"NK stop," Seema said. "You're making Khushi Bhabi blush."

And Khushi went redder.

"I think it just got worse," Payal said.

And Khushi nearly turned into a tomato.

"Okay, I think that's enough," Arnav said.

"Aww, look at Bhai being overprotective," Akash teased.

"At least he's protecting her," Payal teased.

"Hey!"

"Okay, guys, stop," Arnav said.

The five chuckled.

"Alright, let's leave them alone," NK said, and they left.

Once they were out of earshot, Arnav spoke to Khushi.

"Sorry about that."

"It's okay," Khushi said, and then she looked at them. "I like them."

"Do you now?"

"Mm hmm," she nodded.

*~*

Once the guests left, Khushi was taken upstairs to Arnav's, now their, room. All of Khushi's stuff got moved in and Khushi was all ready.  She stood at the vanity table and removed her jewelry, when Dai Ma came in with a red sari.

"Here you go," Dai Ma said. "Why don't you quickly change into this?"

Khushi nodded and took it. "Okay."

Dai Ma nodded and then left. Khushi removed the rest of her jewelry and then quickly went to the bathroom to change. She came out and went to the mirror to check if she looked okay.

Taking in a deep breath, she sighed. Okay Khushi, she said in her head, this is your suhag raat. Now just relax. She took in a deep breath and then let it out. Everything will be just fine. Or is it? No, no everything will be fine. But what of it hurts? No, Khushi, stop. You've read romance novels; it's nothing. It's just going to be romantic. ... oh who am I kidding?! Books lie!

Arnav came in through the door and shut it. Khushi gasped and looked through the mirror. He was wearing a loose, white button down and jeans. Arnav looked Khushi up and down, admiring how sexy she looked.

Especially since she was in his favorite color, red.

*MATURE CONTENT AHEAD*
Arnav walked over to Khushi and Khushi looked down. She was nervous. Beyond nervous. She didn't know if she could face Arnav. But before she could make up her mind, Arnav wrapped his arms around her, making Khushi gasp and grasp the vanity table.

"Finally," Arnav whispered hoarsely, moving her hair aside. "All. To. Myself," he said in between kisses on the crook of her neck.

Arnav began to nibble on her neck, sucking on it as well. Khushi grasped his hands and let out a low moan.

"Arnav," she whispered.

Arnav let out a low growl from his throat and ran his nose up her neck. "You're finally mine."

Khushi felt her core thud.

"To cherish. To care. To love," he said in between kisses.

Khushi moaned softly. She felt something on her back. A bulge or something like that, but she wasn't sure what it was.

Arnav turned her around and cupped her face and made her look at him. Khushi looked up at him shyly and Arnav leaned in and kissed her. At first, Khushi was still, but then she melted and allowed herself to give in, missing his kisses from their short time of seperation. Arnav didn't hold back at all and pulled her in close. Her body crashed into his and she wrapped her arms around him tightly.

As Arnav went moving from her lips and neck, Khushi moaned. She couldn't help but to love the feeling she was getting. She felt slightly wrong, but she didn't pay too much mind to it for too long.

"Khushi," Arnav said in between kisses, "let. Me. Love. You."

Khushi pulled back and caught her breath. Her chest heaved as she looked at Arnav, who was already looking at her. Khushi just looked at the man before her. She loved him. Unconditionally, no doubt, loved him. And if there was anyone she trusted, it was Arnav.

"Love me," she breathed.

Arnav groaned, kissed her, and then swooped down and picked her up. Khushi wrapped her arms around his neck and gazed away at Arnav. Arnav looked at her as well, as he walked through the huge room. He set her down on the floor, beside the bed. He turned her so that her back faced him.

Arnav brought his hand up to move her pallu aside, when Khushi stiffened, grasping her sari over her belly. Arnav moved her hair aside and whispered in her ear.

"Do you trust me Khushi?"

Khushi tried to calm herself and nodded, letting go of her sari.

"Do you love me Khushi?"

Khushi nodded again. "I do love you," she whispered.

Arnav kissed her below her ear and slowly brushed her pallu off. The sari being slightly heavy, it just slipped off and fell to the floor. Khushi gasped as it hit the floor. Moving his hand to her waist, Arnav slowly removed the rest of her sari and it all fell to the floor.

Khushi began to breath at a faster pace and her chest heaved. Arnav slowly turned her around and looked at her.

"Look at me," Arnav whispered hoarsely.

Khushi gulped and gathering courage, she slowly looked up at him. She had never been this undressed before anyone. Arnav pulled her closer to him and kissed her. Khushi was still, feeling nervous, and Arnav didnt like it, so he bit her lower lip. Khushi moaned, and Arnav slipped his tongue into her mouth. He explored every bit of it and took in her taste.

Khushi was into the kiss, when she felt Arnav's hand snake up and pull the string to her blouse. Khushi gasped and pulled away, turning away and covering herself. Her blouse was a halter blouse, so she hadn't worn her bra. Now that it was untied, and since it was just simple cloth, it just hung around her neck, the sides of her breasts exposed.

Arnav leaned forward and kissed her shoulder. Khushi shuddered and held onto herself tighter.

"Khushi, if you don't want to do this," Arnav whispered, "then you don't have to. If you feel uncomfortable, we can wait."

Khushi shook her head. "No," she whispered, "I want this."

Slowly, she moved her hands down and set them at her side. She was going to turn back to face him, but Arnav held her still.

"Are you sure," he whispered.

Khushi nodded. "Yes," she whispered.

Arnav moved his hands down and pulled the string to her petticoat. It fell to the floor and Khushi stiffened. Knowing the expected, Khushi hadn't worn anything underneath. And now her whole backside was on display.

"Are you positive you want to do this," Arnav whispered.

Khushi nodded hesitantly, feeling really nervous.

Grabbing the sides of her blouse, Arnav lifted it up and tossed the scrap of cloth aside. Now Khushi was even more nervous. Arnav kissed her shoulders and then trailed to her neck. Khushi allowed her body to melt into it. Arnav slowly turned her around while trailing along her throat to the other side of her neck. Khushi held onto his arms for support, her knees feeling weak.

Arnav let go and looked at her. Khushi stood frozen as he scanned her body up and down. His eyes met hers and he kissed her.

"So beautiful," he whispered in between kisses. "So, so beautiful."

Khushi let out a low moan. "Arnav," she whispered.

Slowly moving her back, he laid her back on the bed. The two gazed away at each other for a moment, but Khushi felt shy and turned her head away. Arnav made her look at him, but Khushi remained shy.

Armav kissed her, allowing himself to get lost in her. Khushi loved his touch on her and would let out low, soft moans now and then. She helped Arnav out of his shirt and gazed at the sculpted chest that belonged to her husband. For a second, she felt guilty for having this beautiful man.

Unable to control himself anymore, Arnav began to remove his jeans. Khushi froze, watching Arnav as he stripped off his clothes, being left with nothing but his natural form. Khushi's eyes caught his manhood and she quickly looked back at his face. She felt wrong and guilty for seeing it.

But Arnav had caught it and smirked to himself. Looming over her, Khushi felt the bulge again. And this time, she had figured out what it was as she gasped, feeling it. Her eyes had looked down to make sure her theory was right, and she quickly looked back up at him.

Arnav smirked lightly and kissed her cheek. "Khushi, it's okay," he whispered.

Khushi looked at him confused.

"It's okay to look."

Khushi went red and turned away.

Arnav found it cute and kissed her other cheek. "It's okay baby. This is me. All of me. And being your husband, you have to get to know me better."

Khushi looked at him. He had his signature smirk on, which meant he was only going to tease her now.

"Just like I have to get to know you," he continued. "So if I've seen everything," he said slowly, running his hand up from her left thigh to up to her breast, "then you should too."

Khushi squirmed at his touch and her mouth dropped into a silence 'ah'.

"But we'll take things slowly," Arnav whispered. "We've known each other a short time but love each other a lot..."

Khushi felt her heart melt.

"... and in our time together, we'll know each other even more than before. And above all, love each other."

Khushi felt tears forming.

Arnav cupped her face. "Khushi, I promise, that I will always love you. The love you haven't gotten since childhood - I will give you that. Your parents couldn't do it and that's too bad for them. Forget them. I will make up for it. If i have to, I'll sacrifice everything. Even my life if-"

Khushi covered his mouth and shook her head. "I love you," she whispered, tears flowing.

"Oh baby, don't cry," and he kissed her, kissing her tears away.

Khushi calmed down and kissed Arnav. "I want to be yours," she whispered.

Arnav stroked his fingers on her cheek. "Baby you already are," he whispered back.

"I want to be yours body and soul."

Arnav gaped at Khushi, his lips slightly parted. Khushi just looked at him, waiting for his answer. Within a few seconds, Arnav snapped out of trance and smiled. He kissed her and didn't stop this time. He got lost in her and Khushi allowed herself to enjoy his touch, his kisses, and his lovely nothing's.

Leaving her lips, Arnav went trailing down, kissing her chin and throat, and straight to her breasts. Khushi felt foreign to this and gulped. Arnav rubbed his nose through her cleavage and Khushi's hand automatically went to his hair. Arnav liked the little tug he received and trailed to her right breast with fluttering kisses. He kissed her erected nipple and then traced back to the left breast and did the same. Khushi moaned to it, shutting her eyes in passion. Arnav felt turned on by that and he caught her breast in his mouth and sucked.

"Ah," Khushi moaned.

Arnav sucked and swirled his tongue around her nipple. Using his hand, he treated her other breast so it wasn't "left behind". Khushi's back arched, pushing her breasts more towards him. Loving her reaction, Arnav teethed her nipple.

"Ah! Arnav," she moaned, pulling at his hair.

Arnav sucked on it softly and kissed it before looking up at Khushi. She was red, her chest heaving as she breathed.

Arnav smirked sexily and kisses her. "Did you like it," he whispered.

Khushi nodded shakily.

"Again?"

Khushi nodded again.

This time, Arnav paid attention to her left breast. He did the same to the other, while using his hand to tease the right. It made Khushi scream deliciously and it would make Arnav groan.

He traveled down from breasts to her navel. He swirled his tongue and would nip it and Khushi would grasp onto his hair. Going lower, he hovered over her femininity. He look up at Khushi, who was looking at him anxiously. Keeping his eyes on her, Arnav kissed her there.

Khushi gasped. She couldn't believe what she had seen with her own two eyes. Arnav was so bold! Not that she didn't know before, but to this extent, she had no idea.

Arnav came trailing back up with wet kisses and hovered over her lips. "That can wait for another time," and he kissed her softly. "Are you ready," he whispered on her lips.

Khushi shuddered and nodded. "Y-yes," she breathed.

Positioning her properly and having her hold her knees close to her, he positioned himself. Reaching over to his bedside table, he pulled open the top drawer and got out a foil packet. Ripping it open, he took out the condom and rolled it down on his erection. Khushi gulped looking at the size of his thing and wondered if she was big enough down there for him to fit. Placing the tip of his erection at her entrance, Khushi gasped and Arnav kissed her softly.

"This might hurt a bit," Arnav whispered, and he entered.

Khushi gripped onto his arms tightly. "Argh!"

She had her eyes tightly shut and her lips pursed. Though he loved the feeling he was getting and was groaning, Arnav knew Khushi was very gentle and as soft as a feather, so this would be a bit painful for her. He kissed her around her face, helping her to calm down. Khushi managed to calm down and she slowly opened up her eyes and looked up at Arnav.

"You okay, babe," Arnav whispered.

Khushi nodded.

Arnav pecked her softly on her lips. "I'm gonna move now," he advised.

Khushi held onto his arms for support and nodded. Arnav pulled out and pushed right back in. Khushi yelped and shut her eyes again, her chest heaving to this unknown feeling.

"Again," Arnav whispered.

Khushi looked up and nodded. Arnav pulled out once more and then pushed back in. Khushi managed not yell out, but she tightened her grip.

"I'm going to continue now babe," Arnav breathed. "But if it hurts, tell me."

Khushi nodded as she breathed and Arnav pulled back and came in again. He didn't stop and continued to do so, going at a nice and slow pace. Khushi couldn't believe this was actually happening and she couldn't believe that she was actually liking this feeling. Though it slightly hurt her, she was enjoying it. She did want Arnav to know, but she felt shy and didn't say anything. But Arnav understood enough from her sayings, like "ah!", "ooh...", "mmmm...", and his favorite, "Arnav...".

Once Arnav figured that she had gotten used to it, he increased his pace. Khushi gasped as she began to get this feeling inside her. She didn't know what it was, but it felt something like... like... a build-up?

Arnav was going even faster and Khushi had picked up his rhythm. She began to tilt her pelvis up to meet him and Arnav groaned at their first meeting. His Khushi was able to do something bold and he knew there was more to this goddess than what meets the eye.

Arnav could tell she was building up, but she was holding back. She didn't know what it was and nor did she have a clue what was happening to her body. Arnav began to kiss her softly on her face, lips and body.

"Let go babe," Arnav whispered. "Don't hold back."

Khushi felt confused as she gasped from the feeling within her.

"Just feel everything Khushi, don't think about it."

Khushi shut her eyes and followed his words. She began to calm down and she relaxed and she forgot about holding onto the feeling. And soon enough, her body was about to give in and Arnav was pushing into her deliciously fast. And within seconds, Khushi came, her eyes tightly screwed shut as she yelled out from her orgasm, shattering into a million pieces. Arnav loved the feeling and he too, groaned out as he came, shattering as well and collapsing on his wife's chest.

Once Arnav caught his breath, he looked down at Khushi. Things were hazy to her but she felt Arnav kiss her on her lips. Arnav pulled out and Khushi winced. She didn't realize Arnav moving and laying down next to her until she felt him turn her towards him. He had her lay her head on his chest and Khushi placed her hand over it and caught her breath.

"Are you okay," Arnav asked, running his fingers through her hair.

Khushi didn't know why, but she felt spectacular. "Hmm."

Arnav smiled and kissed her forehead. "Get some sleep babe. You must be tired."

Khushi nodded. She felt really tired suddenly and it seemed weird. It was like all the energy was sucked out of her in all that intensity. But she had specs of energy in her.

"Arnav," she whispered.

"Hmm?" He had already shut his eyes, absentmindedly stroking her hair.

She looked up at him. "I love you, Arnav."

Arnav opened his eyes and looked at her. Her eyes were wide and filled with love, making Arnav smile.

He tilted her face up by slightly tugging on her hair and kissed her. "I love you too, Khushi."

Khushi blushed and placed her head back on his chest. Eventually, both fell asleep, feeling content and comfort in the arms of the one they love the most.

Chapter Sixteen

All the women came into Khushi's room and dressed her up:

One woman opened up a jewelry box and gaped. "Arre wa Khushi! These are beautiful!"

Khushi turned and saw her holding a scarlet box. The woman went over to Khushi and held the necklace around her neck.

"Doesn't our Khushi look beautiful," the woman asked.

The others agreed.

They quickly got Khushi ready and when Khushi looked at herself in the mirror, she didn't recognize herself.

One of the ladies smiled. "Kisi ki nazar na lage," and the other women removed the evil eye from her as well.

A group of girls came running in. "They're here," they exclaimed.

All the women giggled and went out. Khushi wanted to go as well, not seeing Arnav in a long time, but she knew she couldn't.

As Arnav came in his eyes searched for Khushi. He was desperate to see her, and that he wouldn't deny. The car stopped and he came out. Dai Ma accompanied him to the door, as well as Aryan, and Garima welcomed him in. She had a smile but it was obvious she was faking it. But Arnav didn't care. He was here for his bride, for his Khushi.

Arnav and his family were allowed in and they were led to the mandap. Arnav sat there, his eyes wandering left and right every now and then.

Where is she, he wondered.

Someone cleared their throat and Arnav looked up and saw Shyam. He crouched down beside him and nudged him.

"What's up future-jeejaji? Can't wait anymore," Shyam teased.

Arnav gave him a warning look, but the ladies behind were chuckling by Shyam's statement. Even Dai Ma was, shaking her head.

"Don't worry," Sham continued. "She'll be here."

"When?"

"In a rush are we?"

"Shut up."

Shyam chuckled. "Maybe an hour or so."

"An hour?! What the-"

"You know how girls are," Shyam shrugged.

"B-but Dai Ma," Arnav looked at her, "you said she'd be ready!"

"Well, I assumed-"

"You assumed wrong," Arnav said grouchily, cutting her off.

Everyone couldn't help but to snicker.

Meanwhile...

Khushi was in front of her mirror, panicking, though she wasn't showing it. She couldn't believe she was getting married. That too to the man she loves. The man that loves her.

The only person that has ever loved her.

Everyone else had gone when Arnav had arrived and she was in the room alone, until now.

"Are you ready Khushi?"

Khushi turned and gaped. It was the gypsy.

"How..." but Khushi could say no more.

The gypsy came in and looked Khushi up and down. "You look beautiful."

"Th-thank you."

Tears were forming in Khushi's eyes and the gypsy shook her head.

"No my child, don't cry. You should be smiling; happy that you will be marrying the one you love."

Khushi looked down. "To tell you the truth... I have some doubts."

The gypsy scrunched her eyebrows. "What do you mean, dear?"

"I mean... Arnav's the only man that has ever come in my life. Don't take me wrong, I love him very much, but... I don't want my heart broken."

The gypsy shook her head, smiling. She caressed Khushi's cheek. "Sweetheart, I didn't want to tell you this when you were little but..."

"But what?"

She sighed. "There was only one man written for you. And that boy is Arnav. I didn't want you to be disheartened, so I didn't tell you."

"Oh..."

"Does it bother you dear?"

Khushi shook her head. "No. I love him. I love Arnav very much." She sighed deeply. "I guess I'm just getting the jitters and my head's messing with me."

She smiled. "Makes sense."

Khushi smiled. "But um... can I ask you a question?"

"Yes dear?"

"What's ahead for me? In my future?"

"That I haven't seen when you were little. Give me your hands."

Khushi held her hands out and the gypsy held them in hers. The gypsy shut her eyes and scrunched her eyebrows. Khushi wondered what it could be, and then the gypsy opened her eyes.

"My dear, I can't see it."

"What? Why?" Khushi felt confused.

"I can see what I've told you before, about your parents. But everything else is hazy. It was before as I tried to see what happens between you and your parents and it still is."

"What does that mean?"

"I don't know dear. But mind you of what I had told you when you were little."

Khushi nodded. "Yes ma'am."

The gypsy kissed the top of her head. "But one thing for sure, he will love you."

Khushi looked at her with doe-like eyes.

"He is a good man. And I can guarantee you this that he will give you happiness."

"But... will I?"

The gypsy smiled. "Of course. It's in your name after all."

Khushi giggled lightly. "Thank you for visiting me," she said once she stopped.

"I had to see you. You just came to my mind today and the vibe in the wind was different, which is when I remembered you. And I knew then that I had to go see you."

Khushi smiled. "Thank you."

"You're most welcome."

"Didi!"

The two turned and looked at the group of women coming, along with Shyam.

"Oh... when did you arrive ma'am," Shyam asked the gypsy.

"Not long. I came to see Khushi get married off."

He nodded and then looked at Khushi. "Ready Di?"

Khushi took in a deep breath and nodded. "Yes."

Shyam smiled. "Let's go."

He went to her side and started to lead her out. The gypsy followed behind the women. As they got out to the hall, Shashi and Garima joined them. They stood on each side but stayed quiet. Shyam didn't care and led his sister down to the mandap.

As Khushi arrived, she felt panicky. Everyone was noticing her and they all slowly turned and looked at her. They formed a path as Shyam walked her towards the mandap, one head after the other turning and looked at her. Khushi looked down, looking side to side now and then, but as she neared the mandap, her heart raced up:

Dhak-dhak! Dhak-dhak!
Dhak-dhak! Dhak-dhak!

Khushi slowly looked up and saw Arnav, who was gazing away at her. His eyes traveled up and down, taking in the beautiful goddess who was about to become his, and only his. His heart went crazy:

Dhak-dhak-dhak-dhak!
Dhak-dhak-dhak-dhak!

And Khushi's did the same:

Dhak-dhak-dhak-dhak!
Dhak-dhak-dhak-dhak!

Shyam helped her up to the mandap and Dai Ma helped Arnav up. The two gazed away at each other, everyone around them not mattering.

"I see we can't take our eyes off each other, hmm," a woman teased.

Khushi looked down and blushed, and even Arnav blushed lightly.

Arnav and Khushi had their garlands exchanged and then the pandit began the recessions. Khushi and Arnav sat beside each other, doing as they were told by the pandit. And then it was time for the pheras. Dai Ma tied the knot as Arnav and Khushi watched her, and then looked at each other.

The pandit was about to start the prayers when Khushi noticed her parents. She looked at them and saw how they had a harsh expression, making her look down a bit. Arnav had noticed and looked at her parents. They hadn't noticed and were looking at Khushi.

The pandit told Arnav to begin and Arnav nodded. Looking at Khushi, he took her hand in his. Khushi looked up at him in wonder and Shashi and Garima looked at him as well. Everyone else watched as he held her hand, some muttering how it was cute, some muttering how it was sweet, some muttering that he had some guts. Shyam looked at Arnav proud, crossing his arms. Arnav looked back at Shashi and Garima and they looked down.

As Arnav led her, Khushi just looked at him. She wondered what good deed she had done in her life, or any lifetime for that matter, to deserve a man like Arnav. When it came time for Khushi to lead them, Arnav held onto her hand, showing her they were equals in this relationship.

When the pheras had concluded, Arnav was handed the mangalsutra. He looked at Khushi and Khushi looked at him. He leaned forward and placed it around her neck. Feeling his fingertips on her neck sent a shiver down Khushi's spine, but she managed and stood still. When Arnav withdrew, Dai Ma held the tiny pot of vermillion. Arnav took a pinch and looked at Khushi. Her eyes stayed glued onto his and Arnav came forward and placed it through her parting.

Everyone clapped, throwing the petals of flower at the newly wedded couple. Arnav and Khushi gazed at each other, unable to believe that they were really together.

Now... and forever.

Chapter Fifteen

After Shyam had left, Garima and Shashi had wanted a word with him, but he completely ignored them. He was pissed at them. He was told that Khushi was getting married to the boy she wants, but it was obvious he was lied to.

The next day, they went to college. The girls were heartbroken to learn that Arnav Singh Raizada would become officially taken and would no longer be available in the market. Arnav spent time with Khushi, as much as he could, since he wouldn't be able to see her after the haldi.

How cute!

The week had passed and the mehendi would happen today.

After school, the two were at the park, sitting on the grass, by the lake. Arnav had his head rested on her lap, holding her tightly by her waist.

"Arnav?"

"Hmm?"

"Isn't it kinda weird? I mean, we've known each other for a short time but..."

Arnav looked up at her. "So?"

"Nothing. It's just that... this is fast, isn't it?"

Arnav caressed her face. "I know. But... I just don't want to waste any time. I don't want some stupid fight to occur and possibly break us, and think years from now what could've happened."

Khushi smiled lightly. "You're so sweet."

"I believe the phrase should be 'you're so romantic'."

Khushi shook her head, rolling her eyes. Arnav smiled his boyish smile and pulled her face closer to his. Her hair draped over on the side and Arnav ran his fingers through it.

"Your hair is so silky," he admired.

"And your hair is really soft."

Arnav was about to pull her in closer to kiss her, when:

"Didi!"

Both looked up and saw Shyam coming their way. Arnav groaned and Khushi giggled. Arnav sat up and looked at Shyam evilly.

"Sorry man," Shyam said, "but I need to take Di home."

"What? Why," Arnav whined.

"Arnav," Khushi giggled, standing up and going to her brother's side.

"What," he asked innocently.

"Well," Shyam began, "I'm taking her for the mehendi."

"Oh right! Forgot about that."

Shyam shook his head and then looked at his sister. "Chale?"

Khushi nodded and Shyam turned to leave. Khushi was about to follow, when Arnav stopped her.

"Can't leave me this quickly can you," Arnav smirked.

"Arnav, I'll be late-"

"They can wait," and he leaned in and kissed her.

Khushi cupped his face in her hands as Arnav held her waist.

When they broke, Arnav said "remember when I said I would have you for a whole day?"

Khushi nodded.

"Now I'll have you for a lifetime."

Khushi smiled. "Seven lifetimes."

"Forever."

"Together."

"Di," Shyam hollered.

Arnav sighed. "What is his problem," he said exasperated.

Khushi giggled and then pecked his lips. "Gotta go. Bye," and she ran off.

At the Gupta's, the mehendi went perfectly. Khushi was smiling brightly and Shyam was there to protect her. Garima and was there, but she showed no expression. There was music playing on full blast and people dancing.

"Khushi betiyan," a woman said. "Come dance!"

Khushi shook her head but everyone forced her up. Shyam grabbed his camera quickly, as well as his phone. He recorded Khushi dancing to "Mehendi Hai Rachnewali" and once she was done, Shyam sent the video to Arnav.

Arnav had just gotten out of the shower and saw his phone go off. He went over to it and saw the message from Shyam.

>Check it out<

And Arnav played the video. He watched in amazement as Khushi danced on his screen. His heart lightened and he kept watching the video repeatedly.

He would have to tease her about it... but not so quickly.

The next day was the haldi. Both Arnav and Khushi were having theirs on the same day. While Arnav's was going on happily, over at Khushi's the vibe was kinda... eh.

Khushi's parents had no expression nor mood. They just applied haldi on Khushi and then Shyam went, who was very happy. For fun, he put a blob on her nose and quickly took a picture with his phone. Khushi gaped at him while everyone else giggled.

Everyone started to dance and also went up to Khushi to put haldi on her. Everyone gave her their blessings and Khushi smiled the entire time.

But...

Over at Arnav's place... Arnav was in a pouty mood.

"I really don't get the point of this," Arnav muttered.

"Beta," Dai Ma began, "this is so that you look beautiful for your suhag raat."

"Beautiful?"

"Well, handsome in your case. But it's so that you shine during your suhag raat."

"Well in that case," he lifted his kurta, "put some here," he pointed at his chest, "and then my arms, my legs, and- oh!" He was about to pull at his pants when Dai Ma slapped his hands and all the women laughed.

The wedding would take place the next day, and Khushi was feeling very nervous. She had butterflies in her stomach and felt queasy. She took deep breaths, trying to calm herself down.

Tomorrow, I'll become a married woman, she said in her head. I can't believe this is happening. To think the gypsy's words would be true...

She looked out at the stars above. Taking in a deep breath, she felt her heart go:

Dhak-dhak! Dhak-dhak!
Dhak-dhak! Dhak-dhak!

Her heart was at peace and she went to sleep.

*~*

It was the day of the wedding and both houses were crazy. There were nonstop people running all over and it was just hectic. The craze was making Khushi feel nervous, but Arnav was perfectly fine.

Nah! I'm just pulling your leg.

Arnav was anxious. All he could think of was when it was time for him to go to Khushi's cause he was desperate to see her. He hadn't seen her in 24 hours and he thought he would explode.

"Beta, go shower and get ready," Dai Ma said.

"We're going to Khushi's? Now? When?"

Dai Ma chuckled. "Not now! In a couple of hours," and she left.

Arnav sat on his bed and sighed. "Great," he said sarcastically.
