Chapter Sixty Four

Since Arnav had done the planning, Khushi didn't know where they were exactly vacationing, other than somewhere warm. But as they drove along the coast and arrived to a grand home with it's own private beach, Khushi was stunned and proud of her husband for making such exceptional plans!

"Arnav I... I'm speechless," Khushi gasped, turning around as she took in the home.

They had only gotten as far as the main hall, and yet, Khushi could find no words to muster up.

"Job well done for me then," Arnav grinned.

Khushi nodded, walking out over to the back patio, Arnav following behind. Aarav, who was in Khushi's arms, waved his hand with joy as he cooed.

"That's right, little man is excited for a fun day at the beach," Arnav grinned.

He took Aarav in his arms, who happily went over to him.

"Honestly Arnav, you've outdone yourself," Khushi said.

"It's the least I can do for my family."

Khushi smiled at him, and then reached up to kiss him. "It's perfect."

Arnav returned a smile of his own. "Come on, let's check out the rest of the house."

Khushi nodded and followed Arnav in. They went through the living room and kitchen first, then made their way to the bedrooms. Arnav had made sure that they got themselves a one-floor house, just to be on the safer end. He had even gone as far as to have a baby room set up, just for Aarav. He had his assistants come out and set it all up, and honestly, Khushi loved it.

Arnav went over to the crib and placed Aarav down. "There we go, all comfy."

"This really is just perfect," Khushi said, looking around the room. "A little too perfect actually, I mean we're only here for a few days."

"I know, but I don't care," Arnav shrugged.

Khushi couldn't help her chuckle and continued to look around at the room. Aarav cooed away, playing with the stuffies that were in his crib.

"Someone's got some new friends," Khushi smiled.

"Hmm, but he's not the only one."

Khushi looked at Arnav in confusion, and he gestured for her to follow him out of Aarav's room.

"But-"

"I've got an app that allows me to watch him thanks to the camera that's installed on his crib."

Khushi noted the camera that was placed on Aarav's crib, so she nodded and followed after her husband. They entered another bedroom - their room - and not only did Khushi note the baby monitor that was sitting on the nightstand, but the little gray tiger stuffy beside it.

"Oh Arnav, did you really get me the tiger stuffy like I had asked," Khushi grinned.

Arnav went over to her and wrapped his arms around her.  "You bet," and he kissed her cheek.

Khushi turned in his hold and wrapped her arms around him. "You really are the best, you know."

"I know."

Khushi giggled and reached up to kiss him, when a cry broke out from their little baby boy.

"Well, looks like someone is hungry again," Khushi sighed.

"The kid won't let me even have a moment with my wife, huh?"

"Arnav," Khushi scolded.

"I'm joking!"

Khushi shook her head with a grin. "How about we get the bags so I can feed him."

"Leave the bags to me, I'll get them. You just stay with Aarav and watch him and our little avocado."

"An onion would seem to better describe her now," Khushi grinned.

"Even better," and he gave her a kiss, then left to get their bags.

While Arnav went down to do that, Khushi quickly made her way to Aarav, picking him up and calming him. However, he was proving it to be a difficult task, not calming down at all.

"It's okay baby, it's okay. Daddy's coming with your food."

Khushi walked through the house, making her way towards Arnav. He had just brought in the last of their belongings, Aarav's baby bag hanging on his shoulder. He placed it down on the table that sat in the middle of the foyer and took out Aarav's giraffe plush doll, which was sticking out from the bag. As soon as he gave it to his son, Aarav had somewhat calmed down, but he was still rather fussy.

"It definitely has some charm," Arnav frowned.

"That's for sure," Khushi chuckled. "Actually, can you bring the bag to the kitchen, I wanna set Aarav's food aside."

"Sure," and Arnav picked up the bag, as well as another duffel bag, and followed Khushi into the kitchen.

Arnav placed the bags down and took out the baby food and formuula that was within the duffel bag, while Khushi took out the few that were in Aarav's baby bag, as well as Aarav's formula. She quickly prepped a bottle for him and Arnav took it, as well as Aarav, and he fed their son. Khushi couldn't help but to gaze at them, always enjoying the sight of them together. But there was stuff to be put away, so while Arnav fed Aarav, Khushi put away Aarav's food.

"I feel like you over-packed his stuff," Arnav said, watching her put everything away.

"Well, better safe than sorry," she said, as she put Aarav's cereal away.

"You know, there is a store about half an hour away, we could've always got it from there."

"If it comes to the case where Aarav has eaten everything, then sure, we can always get more from there."

"I doubt that," Arnav chuckled. "Ain't that right little man," he cooed at Aarav.

Aarav waved his hands, waving his stuffy as well.

Khushi leaned over the island, letting out a sigh. "He's drinking his formula for now, but what will I feed him later? And what should I make for dinner?"

"Don't worry about a thing, I will help you out."

"You're gonna help me cook," Khushi asked, looking at him skeptically.

"You bet."

Khushi couldn't help but to chuckle. "This will be interesting."

*~*

After a nice, long nap, all three Raziada's got up and stayed in the living room. While Khushi chilled out on the couch and watched TV, Arnav played with Aarav on the floor, Aarav crawling around.

"Come on Aarav, say Dada! Say dada!"

Aarav cooed and plopped down on his bum, throwing his hands up in the air.

"He's not gonna say Dada first," Khushi chuckled.

"What makes you say that," Arnav frowned.

"Because he's on the verge of saying Mama first, isn't that right baby," she cooed at Aarav. "My little man is gonna say Mama first! Mama! Mama!"

Aarav cooed once more. "M... mmh!"

Arnav picked Aarav up, bringing him at eye level. "Hey, don't let me down," Arnav pouted.

Khushi laughed as she got up. "What can I say, he's mama's little man."

"That's what I'm afraid of. Don't be another NK," he admonished.

Khushi chuckled once more. "Oh stop it. Now come on, you said you were gonna help me make dinner."

"Sure."

Arnav got up with Aarav, and the three went into the kitchen. Arnav placed Aarav in the highchair he had gotten for him and Khushi placed some puff snacks in a bowl for Aarav to munch on, as well as keep his giraffe next to him. Arnav took out the steaks he had set aside to defrost, and then went over to the pantry to get what he needed. Khushi took out some potatoes, as well as some greens, and she worked on those. While the couple cooked away, Aarav played with his stuffy, enjoying his little puff snacks. Occasionally, Arnav would take a few, to which Khushi would frown at him.

"What, they taste good," he said innocently.

Khushi shook her head as she laughed, watching Arnav place a puff in Aarav's mouth, before plopping another one in his.

Arnav soon rejoined Khushi, helping her finish up dinner. Arnav placed the finished steaks down to rest, allowing for them to cool before he sliced them up. He looked over at Khushi and immediately fell into a daze. Khushi was busy finishing the potatoes, having set aside the sauteed greens. Her hair was up in a bun, her baby bump showing off proud through her black strapped-catsuit, her body glowing. Arnav quite liked the look on her, Khushi appearing more casual than she ever did at home. In fact, he was turned on, so he made his way over to her, wrapping his arms around her as he nuzzled her neck.

"Mm, how can I help you," Khushi asked, feeling his hard length at her bum.

"I could show you," he whispered into her before nipping at her earlobe.

Khushi let out a soft moan. "Arnav stop, you're distracting me. I'll end up burning these potatoes."

"I don't care."

"Well I do," she chuckled as she tried to wiggle out of his hold.

But her wiggling only did the opposite, her body brushing against his, her bum brushing against his erection.

"Keep that up Khushi, and something will go down in this kitchen," he smirked, and he pulled her closer to him, Khushi feeling his erection even more.

Khushi gasped. "Arnav, you do realize that our son is in the room, yes?"

Arnav paused as Khushi looked up at him. The two briefly looked at each other, before turning their attention to their son, who was currently chewing on his giraffe.

"He seems fine," Arnav shrugged.

"Arnav!"

"Oh come on, he's just a little baby. Besides, I caught my parents in action-"

"I know-"

"And I turned out fine!"

Khushi rolled her eyes, scoffing with humor. "Let's just hope that doesn't happen with us."

She released herself from Arnav's hold, and sat the pan of potatoes aside.

"Now would you please set up the table while I get Aarav's food ready?"

"As you wish m'lady."

Arnav went to prepare the table, while Khushi browsed through Aarav's baby food.

"Hmm, what shall my baby eat tonight," Khushi thought aloud. "Will it be mac n cheese, or chicken, or- oh! How about some beef and vegetables," and she picked up the little container of baby food.

Khushi removed the lid and foil, and placed it in the microwave to heat it up.

"Isn't it funny how they have all of these options, or rather flavors, of baby food," Arnav said, as he set their plates down. "I mean gee, you'd think he was eating off of our plates," he chuckled.

"I like it, it's almost like being like a grown person. And its important for him to acquire tastes, learn what he likes to eat. And since he's got some teeth now, he's learning to bite and chew, so that's good."

The microwave beeped, alerting Khushi. She brought out the food, grabbed a spoon, and made her way to the table. Khushi moved the highchair closer to her seat, removing the puffs that had fallen onto Aarav. With all three at the table, they began to eat, Khushi feeding Aarav as she ate.

"I could feed you to make it easier for you," Arnav said.

"I'm fine," Khushi smiled. "And it looks like Aarav is liking his meal too."

Not once did Aarav fuss, taking every spoonful his mother gave, all while playing with his toy. Dinner went by smoothly, Aarav finishing all of his food.

"Now that's my good boy," Arnav grinned, picking Aarav up.

He took him over to the sink to get him cleaned up, while Khushi tossed out the empty container and put the dirty dishes into the dishwasher. Once everything was cleaned up and Aarav let out a burp, they headed on out to the back patio, sitting down on the big lounger, enjoying the evening breeze as well as the sound of the waves.

"This is just perfect," Khushi sighed.

Arnav hummed in agreement. He took Khushi's hand in his, entwining their fingers together. Aarav sat in between them cooing and babbling, blowing raspberries. As time passed, the little boy began to feel tired, so he crawled over to his mother and cuddled into her.

"I guess it's bedtime."

"Why don't you take him in, I'll get his bottle ready," Arnav said.

Khushi nodded, and she picked up Aarav into her arms, taking him to his room. Several minutes later, Arnav came in with Aarav's formula. He took him into his arms and fed him, Aarav placing his little hand on the bottle, while Khushi went back to their room. Soon enough, the little one dozed off, so Arnav put the bottle down, had Aarav burp, and placed him in his crib. Given the way their son had behaved, Arnav knew that little one would be sleeping peacefully through the night without a fuss.

And that was exactly what Daddy needed.
